I threw in for the Reubens. Why not? I think we should all throw in. I thought 2025 was a strong year for comics in general. You all killed it!

Quality performance art. Easy to parse, thematically relevant, kinda gross. Love it.

A misanthrope is an unlikely subject for a world tour, but Timon Hates You has started getting sent off to festivals. Let’s see if audiences love Timon as much as Timon hates YOU.

Wish me luck!

On the topic of "pre-concept art" and GenAI... If you aren't prepared to draw like this and then send to an actual artist to work with, you have no business creatively leading a project. End of story.

We tried moving this forward in LA and barely got an inch. Imagine, a mayor who prioritizes investment in the public wellbeing.
Today, Zohran Mamdani announced a $4m investment in 20-30 public restrooms.

It’s been over 4 years since alders first intro’d a resolution to pilot public restrooms in Chicago, and Brandon Johnson 2 years to *maybe* do ONE restroom *sometime* in 2026 at the expense of Ald. La Spata’s menu money.

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

So much of this era is the story of mean-spirited dumbasses getting enough power that decent, intelligent people can't step in and stop their terrible dumbass ideas.
In this in-depth interview Billie Jean Sweeney — a former editor at The New York Times — details how the paper shifted towards openly promoting anti-trans hatred, why this was directed from the very top, how some staff pushed back and the immense damage done by the NYT legitimizing bigotry.
