This is Caligula shit, but Caligula had it more together than Trump. What a house of cards. No bottom.
Trump has added new plaques under his ‘presidential walk of fame’ in the White House.

On Obama: “Barack Hussein Obama was the first Black President…One of the most divisive political figures in American history.”

On Biden: “Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History...”

Hey romancelandia and fandom peeps! If you live in the U.S. right now you should know that KOSA (along with a slew of censorship bills) are advancing through congress right now. If you care about spicy books and/or fanfiction you should contact your reps right now and tell them to vote NO on KOSA!

Reminder:

They hear the same words Handel used,
It makes them all a bit confused,
And carols have it in them, too, yeah?
And so like this, the meaning shifts, until they think of trees and gifts,
And never hear the truer 'Hallelujah."

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

I've been thinking about @jamellebouie.net's post earlier about people not recognizing that their children are autonomous beings and not extensions of themselves as parents.

It reminded me of this IG carousel I saved recently.

This is really incredible. The government's battle to deport Abrego Garcia has apparently been based on a lie from the start. Not even the "gang affiliation" lie or the "human smuggling" lie, but the more basic assertion that he was ordered to be deported in the first place.
🚨Judge Xinis finds that, incredibly, Mr. Abrego Garcia was never ordered deported in 2019. She notes that every since this saga began all the way back in March, the government has NEVER been able to produce any evidence that the immigration judge actually issued a removal order.

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.

Trying antidepressants was so unpleasant I went more than a decade between some and miserable on the last. Mood stabilizers worked, but an ADHD diagnosis has also meant a way of not fighting myself, though a change in PCPs denied stimulant meds that *kind* of helped more.
Exactly my experience. "I do that but I'm not ADHD" over & over. Then I saw a 12-panel cartoon of typical traits & I had 11 of them so decided to pursue a diagnosis. After decades of SSRIs not really working the consultant said "You're depressed because your life's out of control because of ADHD."

During ratification of the 14th Amendment, senators discussed whether the Citizenship Clause would apply to the children of immigrants and resoundingly concluded that it did. The text and history all point in one direction and the counter-arguments are patently fraudulent. I am going to lose my mind
The evidence is the text. All you have to do is read the Constitution.

Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Pretty sure you can't just take a clause out online because you don't like it and pretend it doesn't exist.
"According to UCMJ Law Article 92 An order is unlawful if it violates the Constitution, U.S. laws, or military regulations and it directs a service member to commit a crime or unethical act."

Nov. 20, 2025

As of the 11/23 "update," that clause is no longer there.

More people should call these scoundrels out this way. To their faces. In front of their families.
Gallego to Hegseth: "You will never ever be half the man that Sen. Kelly is. You, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. I can't wait until you are no longer the secretary of defense."
