I legitimately do not understand, like, what is the plan here. Bryan County is not exactly replete with jobs. Do these people expect middle class engineers to risk getting arrested to build the factory for them?

the most infuriating thing about american attitudes is the delusion that this hyundai battery plant was an act of generosity by the states. rural georgia is a shit hole! There is no one in the county who could even tell you what voltage is and you expect them to build a battery plant?

right! lina khan accomplished nearlyh nothing to reign in Big Tech! i work on issues she regulated and only occasionally looked up from my desk to figure out what it was she was doing.
the wild thing, for me, is that i really do not think the lina khan era of tech regulation was anywhere close to reining in the free-for-all of consumer harm
