Holy 💩 I was not expecting this.
Those tree hugging hippies in Hungary now lead the world in the share of electricity generated from solar with almost 25% of their electricity coming from solar in 2024.

A remarkable leap from just 7% five years ago.

Pretty sure business bros hate Ardern so very much cause she genuinely threatened the “convince the population they need to slave for subsistence wages with less days off than medieval peasants” work til you die rhetoric. We stopped the economy and look after the people and the economy was fine.

Back when Aotearoa New Zealand was voting via referendum on whether or not to ditch First Past the Post for Mixed Member Proportional for our voting system, the cartoonist Murray Ball put out the below comic.

I see those telling New Yorkers not to vote for Zohran Mamdani and think on this comic.

As usual, the answer to a headline question is a resounding "No", with the evidence right there in the accompanying photo - the politician in the suit and tie is guilty of some of the worst racist and bigoted behaviour in the house, cloaked in 'civility', over nearly half a century.

Meanwhile crimes are up, they can't even recruit 30 of the promised 500 new cops, police don't even bother to investigate over 5000 retail crimes & a raging meth & cocaine crisis goes ignored #nzpol Photo courtesy @petesi.me

Winston threatened journalists, Seymour said RNZ's budget was cut to "teach them a lesson," Goldsmith low key threatened our national broadcaster. And now they're all crying because Sean Plunket might be subject to basic scrutiny. It's becoming so farcical, it feels like we're in a sketch #nzpol
