Article is from 2019, and saves a huge wallop til the very end (the guy who developed this concept doesn’t believe Dyslexia is a real thing). This … does explain a lot of written communication, actually. How can we teach people to love reading if sentences are gamified to be a puzzle to be solved?

Let us be incredibly, abundantly clear:

We are demanding that Chuck Schumer resign for his continued betrayal of the American people.

If he does not willingly step aside, we are calling on the Senators in the Dem caucus to remove him and Dick Durbin from Senate leadership.

The best thing is that it wasn’t even a particularly bad storm.

Of course I’ll believe it when we see it, etc, but it would be funny.
Never has there been a case of more "good fucking riddance," but it's not unamusing that they're hightailing it right after the first snow storm hit. Chicago has a built-in defense against unserious jagoffs and it's called winter.

Today marks 50 years since the Edmund Fitzgerald and her crew of 29 sank during a violent storm on Lake Superior.

In Minnesota, we continue to honor their legacy.

Hands up if you'd be interested in a Sonic Youth #MusicChallenge in 2026 🙌

Thinking February or March for this one, if there's enough interest.

RTs appreciated.

incredible that these guys have a massive hard on for a country that, if it were a state, would rank behind kansas in terms of wealth and which would be a total backwater if it weren’t economically integrated with more functional countries

And here she is at the loser party with him.

Classic distortion of the issue. “Online” people are typically more polarized and intensely so about the shutdown. So you can find 10 right wing accounts to outweigh x amount of lefty accounts and ignore others entirely. The story becomes polarization and not GOP malfeasance this way.
