They’ve convinced people AI chatbots aren’t only speaking but thinking, which is plausible if you don’t know how they work. They perform some cognitive tasks, but any logic in their “thinking” is only a residue hidden in our language—its grammar, concepts, etc. in the training data they gobbled up.

My cat, Figaro, died yesterday after a difficult 6 months with abdominal cancer. He was a very sweet cat with a lot of heart and a great capacity for love, tenderness and playfulness, and he helped me a lot over the years in ways I could never repay. A hard loss, but only because of how lucky I was.

Not ICE. Border Patrol. They’re wearing Border Patrol uniforms with clear Border Patrol patches on them.
There are many videos of ICE officers doing outrageous stuff but a lot of the absolute worst videos are of Border Patrol, who are basically Bovino and Miller’s most aggressive tool right now.
