James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

This was my 100th movie review to go live this year, a milestone of import to no one but me, but what else is social media for? 🥳

It’s difficult to underestimate the extra burden that this is placing on our public libraries. For example, on a daily basis library workers are now filling the in-person/human service gap that billion euro banking institutions have abdicated from to maximise their profit margins.
"Essential services are now digital by default, leaving many older people feeling locked out of their own lives."

As more of our lives move online by default, digital ageism has quietly become one of the last unchallenged prejudices, writes Fiona Daly.

Opinion: We’ve grown far too comfortable excluding older people from the digital world

ENZO 📽️ is about a teenage boy with a crush, a crush which is not quite sexual though it kind of is, and I liked how it handled its issues of privilege and maturity pretty well movieswetextedabout.com/enzo-review-...
'Enzo' Review - A Likeable Little Movie
Enzo (Eloy Pohu) is sixteen or seventeen, a dangerous age. He’s still very much a child, but thinks he isn’t. Having a scooter and some limited amounts of freedom isn’t quite adulthood, but he is too ...

BLUE MOON 📽️🏳️‍🌈 continues Richard Linklater's hot streak of analysing the stories men tell themselves, Ethan Hawke is extraordinary, and its kindness about human delusion is really appreciated movieswetextedabout.com/blue-moon-fi...
'Blue Moon' Film Review - Richard Linklater's Latest is Worth Watching More Than Once
This could have been a play and may well get a second life as a play, because its single set, very talky script and clever staging keep us in the room for the 100-minute runtime. It is heavily inspire...

The Bosco Leroy Biopic
Kaantha
120 Bahadur (looks like one hell of a war movie)
The one where the rival enters doing the splits between two cars, which only JCVD or Buster Keaton could ever have done in the West

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
