Humanizing the web with a user-centric search engine and browser - no ads, no trackers, just you and the product you love: https://kagi.com/
You only need to do it once with Kagi 😇
Googled something like 5 different ways and was scrolling and rephrasing and scrolling not getting the answer. Searched for it once on Kagi (still doing the free trial) and immediately found what I was looking for. First fucking result.

I…wow.

Since you pay for the service, Kagi makes money when you’re happy, not when you click on ads or share your data to be commodified. It’s that simple. No conflicting interests, no hidden agendas.

Just another data point in the search engine space: I’ve been paying for @kagi.com for 6+ months and I am extremely happy with it. Even the limited applications of LLMs are done well, stay out of the way, and are totally disable-able. I *love* being able to reprioritize and even block whole domains.

Kagi's built-in Redirects feature lets you customize search result URLs with simple find & replace magic.

Modified results will include a visual indicator, so you’ll always know when a rule has been applied.

If you're using it, how has this been helpful for you?

Currently giving a lot of thought and energy to this.
It would be good to have a reliable, ungameable search engine again. When the dust settles we ought to give some thought and energy to that.

Kagi News

Use @kagi.com and stop assuming that “search” is Google. We have options that are BETTER than Google, so let’s support and use them.
I don't think we understand just how bad the decline of the Internet is to knowledge.

3 years ago, I could perform a very basic search in any engine and get an absurd number of relevant links, research articles, etc.

Today, I can perform the same search and find absolutely nothing.
