an underrated part of this turducken of garbage is Elon posting an image of the Odyssey while discussing the Iliad, but it's all so terribly, terribly pathetic

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.
We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.
If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇

Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

adblocking is a form of mental hygiene. people should view advertisements as adversarial attempts to manipulate; defend yourself accordingly
this is also why i pay for things like kagi (an ad-free, subscription-based search engine).

I honestly believe we could reverse the damage of the last 9 years if everyone on the internet 1) used an ad blocker and 2) got off social media
"I'm so, so tired of ads for Ozempic, Viagra, and AI garbage, please give me something else"

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Don't trust a New York Times reporter. Don't talk to a New York Times reporter. They are the most ambitious journalists on the planet and will do anything to get the story their editor wants. The truth doesn't matter to them, only getting the story their editor wants so they can move up.
heads up to anyone who holds trans kids near: amy harmon from the nyt is searching for and having a hard time finding people to interview to find out exactly what trans kids are doing when their care is limited or cut off, and for purposes of community safety, please shut the fuck up around her.

Remember: don’t follow people who don’t actually know things.
I think it’s really odd watching a bunch of people so addicted to thinking of themselves as anti-establishment rebels that they’ve invented a myth of an oppositional “Establishment” to justify holding onto it rather than take an outright, overwhelming win.
