Tradition states that last night Jesus emptied out all the jails. Spent Saturday night telling people “I don’t care what you did, people weren’t made for prisons.” The next day to prove His point He broke out of solitary. It is finished. Easter is incompatible with the carceral state. Happy Easter.

@josh-hivemindgames.bsky.social Does Hive Mind take pitches for new games?
I'm based in Manchester too, and I've designed a game with a similar theme and setting to 'Brother, Why?'
It's called 'Pilgrims and Profits': bit.ly/pilgrimsnpro...

Fascists are losers and snitches, bullies and sneaks, creeps and cowards. Fascists are vulgarians, ignoramuses, and knownothings. Fascists are snivelling conformists cosplaying a juvenile rebellion fantasy; sadistic inadequates and entitled crybabies; the petty, the small, the empty, the terrified.

look it hasn’t worked the last 15 times but maybe *this* time a round of cuts to essential public services will lead to economic growth and prosperity

The people who worry me most these days aren’t the fascists - just because their positions are clear, and at least you can plan for them. The most worrying are people so obsessed with self-advancement that they will sacrifice every loudly-held position at a moment’s notice. They concern me the most.
Thinking about this war on disabled people that has been waged by successive UK governments: and how it’s always waged by people who are ashamed or afraid of one day not being wealthy, of not being “useful” to a capitalist system, who are desperate, and who project that onto the people they punish.

The fact that Musk has lost $100B over the last month but is still the wealthiest person on Earth and financially unharmed in the slightest—all while wealth and income inequality is worse now than it was after the Great Depression—is Exhibit A on why we need to tax billionaires out of existence.

Hi. Theo is poorly today, and very sad that he won't be at Art Club. He'd like to ask if there's anything he could work on at home instead.
Thanks

Sometimes I’ll buy one of those really big bags of posh Tyrells Crisps and think “why, this amount of crisps will last me three, maybe four days?”. But then I will sit down with the big bag of crisps, and I will enter into what might medically be referred to as a “crisp trance”.

I remain obsessed by how much this publicity photo from Spaced looks like every British Xennial's First Houseshare Photo. The poses! The sofa! THE LITTLE BAMBOO TABLE FOR THE LANDLINE WITH SPACE BENEATH FOR THE YELLOW PAGES.

Whenever you hear "the rich will leave the country if taxed more!" remember that they said the same when Blair introduced the NMW.

Also...if the wealthy want to eff off they totally can. See ya.
