this is a great point and to that end: why isn't Anthropic building a salesforce competitor or whatever? Surely they could with the magic of Claude Code based on all the crap I've read
Once again: if these LLMs could actually do all the things their owners claim, they wouldn’t be selling access. They would be building and selling all the things they claim their software can do.

It should frankly be illegal for corporations to willingly share your information with law enforcement without a judicial warrant.

Hell, it should be illegal for corporations to share/sell/trade any aspect of your information with anyone.
Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

Watched the 1990 movie "Hired to Kill" recently. It's bad! In a boring way! It's all down hill after the first 30 seconds, but what a way to open.

So an odd thing here is that if you say "an unidentified man dressed in a Batman costume" your point is to communicate "it is not really Batman" but the problem is that the real Batman, within the fiction of the comic book "Batman", is also, literally, an unidentified man dressed in a Batman costume
An unidentified man dressed in a Batman costume angrily confronted Santa Clara city officials during a joint meeting of the City Council, city authorities, and the Santa Clara Stadium Authority on Monday, using his public comment to condemn the city’s stance on cooperation with ICE.

Y'know those "mark if you're safe" things for earthquakes and stuff? We need that for if a major sport is happening. Like it makes you click on that before you post, then it remains in effect for the length of whatever big sport is going on, auto-adds #sports to your posts

My take is that professional politicians have to give an offramp to regretful Trump voters, but I, as a regular person, don't have to do shit. I will hold it against them until I die
Nuanced take: I think it's really important to give *normal citizens* who supported Trump and off-ramp and *professional writers, pundits and politicians* who supported Trump should have to wear it like a scarlet letter for the rest of their lives
This is aggravating, because on the one hand I think it's really important to give fascists an off-ramp and positive reinforcement when they use it...

...on the other hand, FUCK that guy, in particular.
