Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance 🏳️‍⚧️🕯️

We honour the lives tragically taken by transphobic violence and hatred, and we reaffirm our commitment to creating a world where every trans person can live openly, safely and with the dignity they deserve.

On Trans Day of Remembrance, we mourn those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, hatred and discrimination.

Trans rights are human rights.

Today, let us commit to building a kinder society where everyone can live in peace, dignity and freedom.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Amid anti-trans politics, today is a day of reflection. A day to mourn those we have all lost.

Each name is a reminder to love and fight for each other, and especially for those most marginalised.

With solidarity, we will build a better world for us all.

My constituent is one of six political prisoners on hunger strike, demanding the right to a fair trial and the de-proscription of Palestine Action.

I have written to David Lammy to demand urgent action.

The government knows the truth: the weight of history is against them.

I'm rewatching Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex and it's funny that even in this dystopian world there's still an understanding that AI should still be deeply human at its core.

Something none of the AI bros today understand.

Discourse surrounding “AI” these days often feels like a guy showing you his shovel and you say, “that’s a nice shovel” and he says “I am going to perform surgery on my mother with this shovel” and you say “Oh God please don’t that is not what a shovel is for.”

I asked the Home Secretary how it feels to kick away the ladder and introduce anti-migrant policies endorsed by fascist Tommy Robinson?

She didn’t answer the question, calling it “beneath contempt”.

The only thing beneath contempt is her pound-shop Powellism. Shame on her & this Labour government.

The judge really lets rip here, at length - the courts have clearly had enough of the Burkes.

He also ruled that criminal contempt proceedings should be taken against Mr Burke as well as his brother Isaac, sister Ammi and mother, Martina for their conduct in court hearings.
“The judge said Mr Burke had not been imprisoned or fined for his views on transgender issues, which he was perfectly entitled to have and to articulate... he had been dismissed from his position for gross misconduct.”
