Today I am starting a thread of my Top 25 Exploitation Films. I am going to try and cover a decent range of sub-genres and pick films I think are the best examples of those sub-genres. I will be going from 25 to 1 and I will update it daily. Thread starts below. 🎥 #Filmsky
Now watching Primate (2025, USA) - Johannes Roberts 📽️ #Filmsky

Last repost is probably my personal favourite Duvall performance that I've seen. He is astonishing in THX 1138, simply astonishing.

I'm sure this is embarrassing but I can't say for sure since I can't read whatever language it's written in.
Token Anxiety

i think i mostly echo this for myself. with so much that can be done, i often feel like i *should* be doing something, always

Damn. RIP to Robert Duvall. Quite simply one of the all time greats.

I will smash these waymo cars with a sledgehammer.
There is speculation that the introduction of driverless cars could lead to jaywalking laws in the UK

65% of Britons would oppose making jaywalking a minor offence, including 41% "strongly opposed"

Only 24% are would support such rules

I swear, working in a cafe opening until close all by yourself is miserable.

The thing with the "art shouldn't be political" is you can set out to make art that is apolitical, in that your only real objective is to entertain. However, once it exists it immediately becomes political.

Great film. Claustrophobic, vicious and deeply sad. Friedkin did another film with play/screenwriter Tracy Letts, Killer Joe, that's a similarly bleak and limited location/cast. Both are strongly recommended and if you want a particularly miserable evening, would make a cracking double bill.

I think I'm going to take a particularly slutty photo this coming Ass Friday

My luck with work is so good! Finally got a new full time job, that came with the promise of being trained as a manager, then getting a pay increase. Well never got trained and now it's closing down in a month.

Potential hot take but Bergkamp's first premier league goal of the season might be better than his more famous second.

It is understandable some people don't understand Starship Troopers is a satire, it's after all very subtle and easy to miss.

I was expecting crossing the road to be way more of an issue when I was in the states but in Boston they didn't seem to give a shit
Politics London discussing driverless taxis casually referring to “jaywalking pedestrians”.

Jaywalking is not a thing in UK law.

Transport for London and Government had better not be asleep at the wheel on this.

It's crazy how ineffective doing this was.

My aim is to be able to put together a (relatively simple) routine to pole around May. Nothing too flashy but just a little something something.

Would love to see Future Islands this year if they end up doing a tour.

It would have been something I'd have worried far too much about looking silly a few years ago but I realise that's one of the biggest traps. You gotta get silly, silliness is freeing.
Intuitive pole class down and I really loved it. A lot of mediative stuff, self massage, rolling around on the floor and really paying attention to how it feels, how your body feels while doing it. We did a little pole move at the end which was difficult but when it clicked, it was so graceful.
