I liked Weapons, I wasn't in the love camp. Of the year my favourite horror and probably favourite film has been Bring Her Back. That felt gnarly in a way I've not experienced in a little while.

Yeah, I think the mood created, especially through the soundtrack and cinematography was what I enjoyed most..it's also pretty funny which I liked.
