Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

I think it's also important to point out that for all of the "Young Men Are Going Hard Right!!!" hand wringing, young men are still to the political left of every older cohort.
The issue is that youth voting was significantly down this cycle, probably because they were given jack shit to vote for.

This is why swinging right is such a ridiculous choice for Dems if they want to win. Progressive policies when elections. Dems can’t ever reach across the aisle far enough to get the vote of a Republican voter. They’ve been convinced that a vote for any Republican is their religious duty.
