None up for 2026 votes or are retiring. Never forget.
Under Schumer's leadership, eight Democrats (Cortez Masto, Durbin, Fetterman, Hassan, Kaine, King, Rosen, & Shaheen) joined the Republicans in moving forward a bill to reopen the government without ACA subsidies—Dems' stated key aim—or any other real concessions from the status before the shutdown.

It’s exactly right. They barely get anything of substance done and are always running on “don’t let republicans win” rather than good policy. Vote every single one out.
It’s not just Schumer.

The Dems job is to cave,
come up one vote short,
get blocked by the parlementarian,
mired in committee, etc

It’s why large Corps, billionaires & foreign countries fund thrm.

If they didn’t cave, lose, come up short
the Corps/billionaires wouldn’t give them a dime.

Why wouldn’t they just make them agree to vote on healthcare subsidies now? Oh they did and they fucking denied them, sure December will be different.

So the one to 25,000 bad apples in the NYPD are "self-deporting?" What a great way to weed out the most prejudiced assholes. Congratulations, New York City!

In California if you own over 10 houses and live in none you should be taxed 200% property taxes for every house over 10. Then that money should go directly into building affordable housing. Let small time landlords exist but stop companies from collecting houses like 40yo’s collect baseball cards.
In 2025, first-time home buyers sank to a record low of 21%. Housing is unaffordable.

We need to take private equity out of the housing market and return purchasing power to ordinary Americans.

This is going to mess up a generation who are already completely desensitized from the active shooter drills they have to do.
So enraging that the emails from the school district are "here's how you can get food" and "here's how we're protecting students from ICE."

What barbarity, a breach into which underpaid teachers and administrators are stepping in as best they can.

Yeah, maybe we’re better off without private insurance that fucks everyone over while wasting a fuck ton on administrative costs.
Insurance companies aren’t just players in the fight with doctors over money; they’re also the referees.

They produce their own guidelines on when to pay claims. If a doctor appeals a denial, insurers make all the initial decisions.

“Slow Pay, Low Pay or No Pay”: Trial Reveals How Insurers Try to Wield Power Over Doctors
Blue Cross authorized mastectomies and breast reconstructions for women with cancer but refused to pay the full doctors’ bills. A jury called it fraud and awarded the practice $421 million.

You may not agree, but I think it’s time for Dems from coast to coast to run on Medicare for all.

We do NOT need health insurance companies at all.

Period.

They serve no valuable societal purpose other than to add cost to healthcare and drive people crazy.

The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani.

The president and his allies came after him.

Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute.

He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters.

His politics can win anywhere.

Cheney turned the wheel of the West directly towards mass murder in a very public way during the rise of new media and with only the flimsiest of justifications.

And he, the oil companies, politicians and news outlets totally got away with it.

if there was a rich person with the will, you could build the most incredible news organization that has ever existed just from the wreckage of this year alone.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
