The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

They’re an insult to every American who ever sacrificed to do the right thing.

“There could have been a version of this book in which she dared to interpret her fall from grace as continuous with the country’s — in which she, too, was shocked to find herself seduced by charismatic vulgarity, in which she admitted to ugliness or inelegance.” Now that’s a book I would have read.

I am once again asking United States Senators to take a trial ad class to learn cross examination and witness control techniques plz
One thing to note about Bove’s response re: whistleblower report is that he didn’t explicitly deny making the “fuck you” comment.

Would be interesting to see his response if a senator directly asks him if he denies saying that

I mean at least it’s a good headline.
Has a single reporter asked anyone on Team Trump about why it's OK to bomb little boats that "might" have drugs on them while pardoning one of the biggest drug dealers we've managed to convict?
Maybe I missed it, but has even one Republican in Congress spoken out against Trump’s corrupt pardon of a guy convicted of helping funnel more than 500 tons of cocaine into the U.S.?

the primary thing that TPUSA provides to young conservatives is a blueprint for weaponizing the abject cowardice of university administrators against individual teachers and instructors, and university admins should take a long look in the mirror and think about what that says about them

This fits in with everything this administration does: horrible and also stupid as hell.
The Trump admin now says nursing isn't a professional degree.

The admin plan to redefine what constitutes a professional degree to exclude nursing and limit access to student loans — outraging national health care groups and leaving nursing students questioning how they'll pay for graduate degrees.
