Been a week and I’m still thinking about Wake Up Dead Man. Very good movie with great themes. Wish it had a long run + wide release but there’s nostalgia magic here.
Seeing a good normal movie in a rundown dingy crowded theater reminded me of how movie houses used to feel.

started replaying dragon quest VIII on 3DS (with the orchestral mod) and it has me re-assessing my feelings on the series at large. I should also point out that all of them are good so my rankings have been pretty fluid (tho 5 and 3 have always been near the top)

Been feeling this so much lately! Ask a teen what the best game this year was and it’ll be different than other people in their 20s, 30s, etc.
Games haven’t quite hit the diversity of something like “best book” but we’re certainly much much broader than we used to be.

Ahead of the GOTY season, I’m hoping hardcore fans can embrace that with over ten thousand games each year, the age of group think and consensus is gone. Which rules. Now everybody can have their own favorite thing!
