Not only will the texpayer pay for it, it will also never be finished, nor will the contractors be paid.
the amount of times he keeps asserting it will be of no cost makes me 100% sure taxpayers will pay for it

Dune and Dune 2.

And with very good reason.
fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

New in PN: CBS obeys in advance

"A routine TV hit which would have been quickly forgotten became a national story about government censorship and a Democratic candidate being silenced by Trump’s henchmen. In a tough primary, you couldn’t buy better exposure. Nice work, FCC Chair Brendan Carr."
CBS obeys in advance

The English language news does no justice to how utterly hated Bill White already is after 3 months in his post.

Bill White is a perfect example of how the Thump regime far exceeds ambassadorial positions.

They consider Europe as extensions, not sovereign nations.

Fuck'em.
Belgium summons U.S. ambassador over post accusing kingdom of antisemitism
“Labeling Belgium as antisemitic is not just wrong, it’s dangerous disinformation that undermines the real fight against hatred,” Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot said on X.

For years, human rights advocates have been warning that mandatory online ID checks are a death sentence for activists, journalists, and ordinary people resisting authoritarian regimes, for this exact reason.

Forcibly associating online activity with your government name puts dissidents in danger.

Grief is a part of life and reality.
Loss is a part of life.

Escapism of this kind will cause grievous harm on top of the loss.

Yeah, just IMAGINE. And in sex workers' case, the persecution is backed by the government, happens in real life rather than JUST on the internet, and is enshrined in law.
It's great being a reporter or anyone with a public-facing job and hearing DHS say, like, "imagine if tons of nutjobs hated you and posted your picture on the internet and said you should die in a tire fire just because of your work."
Posting about ICE on Instagram is now enough to get you an “administrative subpoena.” 👀

If I ever enter your homes and rob your jewelry, remember: it's just diplomacy.
Chris Wright on seized Venezuelan oil: "We've sold about $1 billion of oil so far. We've recently signed agreements to sell about another $5 billion in the next several months. So you're talking well north of $10 billion a year ... this is way out of the box, groundbreaking Trump diplomacy."

I see the talking points have been issued, and they're going to parrot them no matter how stupid they are
Rep. Steube: "They want ICE agents to have their ID, but they don't want voters who vote in our nation's elections to have ID to show they're actual citizens of our country. The hypocrisy is beyond the pale."
