If you don't have authentic Grenadier AD&D Miniatures, you aren't an authentic Dungeon Master.
I don't make the rules. That sketchy wizard cast a spell ages ago and this curse is now the reason for that Dungeon Master shortage people talk about. To end the shortage we must first defeat this guy

One of the things that the “immigration debate” in the UK really reveals is how little people actually know about how other people live. So much of immigration policy fails to work, even on its own terms, because it’s trying to solve problems that mostly exist in peoples heads

Some of the people in this article have shared their recollections with me before - but on condition of anonymity. Coming forward now is an act of patriotism. Farage’s claim that it never happened is the opposite.

This is utter madness. We have a *Labour* government that thinks it's a good idea to brief that they are inspired by Trump's immigration policies.
I mean, it’s quite clever politics for someone from the Greens to pretend to be Shabana Mahmood’s special adviser and brief this sort of stuff to the Times, but I’m not sure it’s especially ethical.

Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

Partially because it's an amazing AP podcast with audio design on par with that of Audio Daddy Casey Toney, but also, selfishly, I know a lot of cool artists who's fanart would absolutely rock and I want to see it.

The absolute opposite of art. This is honestly chilling, not in a dumb ‘The robots are taking our jobs’ way but in the stark staring-into-the-eye-of-madness glimpse it gives us of how utterly allergic to the idea of honest artistry the cheerleaders of this bullshit are.
I don’t know if there’s a more perfect illustration of the utter fucking nonsense that creative pollution by AI will produce than this choice to illustrate the power of Paramount’s new “localization” and “customization” technology by face-swapping Brad Pitt into the lead role of GET OUT

Probably, if you pushed me to choose, my favourite album of all time.

Late to this, but really can’t recommend enough this episode of Origin Story w/ @dorianlynskey.bsky.social and @iandunt.bsky.social on the Rivers of Blood speech. Scary as hell, brilliantly analysed, with lessons for all of us on the mainstreaming of the far-right

The Great Joe McPhee. One of the realest ones.
After providing #Severance with the soundtrack to its "defiant jazz" scene, the endlessly explorative work of legendary multi-instrumentalist Joe McPhee is enjoying a moment of rare mainstream crossover...

Never underestimate how much difference getting fed makes to artists. Being on the road makes eating well tough. I fondly remember more of the gigs where we got a meal, however humble, even if the pay was shit and the gig was a drag. It can literally be a pot of bean chilli, we’ll never forget it.
When I am god emperor there will be a hot food mandate for all dive bar music venues and we will replace drink tickets for artists with literal meal tickets for artists.
