Behold! The massive RPG Moral Panic video I've been researching and assembling for years, and why people who call the whole affair the Satanic Panic are wrong.

I received a Surprise Game in the mail.
Most Surprise Games don't appeal to me (usually FRPs & 5e games).
But THIS GAME looks right up my alley.
Demons, Exorcists, 1890s Europe, BRP Mechanics - FUCK YES!! This is so my jam.
Behold: the Exorcist's Codex Slipcase Set!

This past year has been a lot of lasts.
"This is the last birthday card I'll buy my mother."
"This is the last Mothers Day I'll have with with mom."
Last night was the last time I kissed her goodnight.
This morning was my first day without my mother. A lot more firsts this next year.
Fuck cancer.

There really needs to be a Midsomer Murders Call of Cthulhu crossover.
The only real difference between Arkham County and Midsomer County is a lack of fish people.

While the fold-out map that comes with Cthulhu by Gaslight is pretty, it's also a tad small to make out all the details.
Then I learned Chaosium sells larger ones through their Red Bubble store.
Poster sleeve, plexi, or something is needed because that bad boy really wants to roll up on ya.

Some dude who has never once commented on the channel before asked me to record myself GMing. I said no. No big deal. Happens all the time.
Then the dude tries to pull the "You'd get more respect if you did" card, like some sleazeball coercing girls into sending them nudes.
Fuck that dude.

To all the people saying, "I can't trust players not to metagame and cheat," and your players are not actual children, then you're most likely the problem.
It's amazing how much better everything is once you treat your players like adults and let your expectations be known. Trust is pretty cool.

Some cliches are famous for being cliches.
My favorite is "The Butler Did It". Everyone knows it's over-used, and "we've all seen it countless times," but few people can name single mystery in the last 100 years where the butler did it & it wasn't some joke like, "OMG, the butler ACTUALLY did it."

One of the greatest movie openings of all time is from Takashi Miike's film Dead or Alive.
It's 7 minutes of unbridled madness, violence, sex, and weapons-grade cocaine.
The movie itself is OK, but the first 7 minutes are infuckingcredible.

I've been in a lot of old buildings and ridden in some sketchy-ass elevators, but I don't believe I've ever ridden in one of those elevators with the accordion gate you have to manually close.
Maybe, like quicksand, Hollywood has completely misled me about how often I'd encounter them.

Fun with Data
Juvenile Crime skyrocketed between the 1960s and 1990s. Gang violence and 'super-predators' dominated the news. Then in 1995 it dropped and kept dropping.
No one knows why.
Some attribute it to Roe-v-Wade passing 20 years before.
Possibly it was all those "violent" FPS video-games.
