Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

When there are more than 2 candidates running for an office, ranked choice voting is a more accurate & efficient method for determining the will of the majority than current methods. Hoping that this catches on.
Today, Rep. Don Beyer, Sen. Peter Welch and I are introducing a bill to expand ranked choice voting to all elections for Congress. RCV assures that winners have majority support, no candidate acts as a “spoiler,” and the voting process favors positive coalition-building.

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

I am constantly aggravated by this tech, it is foisting so much extra work on me, because throughout the last couple of years, the sheer amount of games using generative AI that are flooding my inbox, many that DO NOT DISCLOSE THIS, is forcing me to scrutinize everything that ends up in my inbox.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

There are going to be A LOT of misleading, vaguely-worded headlines — particularly from non-music publications — in the near future trying to drum up hysteria about the AI Music Takeover. Please try to not take them at their word. We're still a long way off from this actually being a thing.
I've been seeing this headline floating around. To be clear:
1) This is "No. 1" on a miniscule chart, The "Country Digital Song Sales" chart, as in people actually paying money to download country songs which is a tiny amount of people
2) The actual consumers are almost certainly fake
