Fermi paradox. Climate will be our world’s great filter. Well… capitalism is the real filter, but you understand.
Not to be negative but this is apocalyptic
Ahead of midterms, climate policy has become a wedge issue splitting Democrats. After last week's electoral victories, some Democrats will only talk about expanding clean energy through lens of affordability. Others believe talking about climate change will win voters. www.eenews.net/articles/ret...

Very interesting. Even more interesting will be how this is employed on the dark web, by hackers ethical and unethical alike.

Let's be real -- it's MOSTLY sacrifice, and for folks like Cleaver who were happy to send friends of mine to their deaths overseas. American soldiers haven't defended our freedoms in a long time, but they've killed a lot of children for oil and regime change.
Today marks Veterans Day, a day to honor the brave men and women who risked their lives to defend our freedoms.

Today and every day, we thank America’s veterans for their sacrifice and service to the nation.

How’re you excising the anger? Me? I’m gonna go outside and destroy this faulty DIMM stick with a sword, blasting STILL by Geto Boys.

A-fucking-men, Hailey. Love the art you love. Help it find more of its audience. That’s the real punk rock.
It's the last I cannot stand, these irony-pilled losers who feel embarrassed the moment anyone, including themselves, openly feels or cares about anything. You are part of the societal problem that tells people to treat others as an annoyance. You don't even know yourself, just walls within walls.

It sucks the only folks that subscribe to them are writer folks. Readers just don’t. My time as EiC of Space and Time magazine (oldest continually publishing genre mag) showed me how incestuous the space has become. We worked very hard to break beyond that, with middling success. :/ It’s a $ thing.
people should subscribe to literary magazines

this. be mad. then refocus and keep fighting.
I am not going to let Schumer and 8 center-right Democrats bring me down. We won on Tuesday. We're gonna keep winning. Just keep telling the stories of what the Trump administration is doing and how it's making lives so much harder, about the corruption, the incompetence, the violence.
November 10, 2025 at 5:56 AM
This. It's callow cuckery and indignant ignorance. @schumer.senate.gov is DONE. No more donations to dems until he's gone.
I’m not happy about how much this feels like establishment rebuking a misbehaving electorate that chose, by and large, more progressive candidates than they felt we should have but. Hard not to feel like those things are connected.

Don’t be a damn fool: listen to Neil.
Good literary translation requires understanding (language, culture, genre--on both sides of the translation) and an ability to write well. "AI" can't do that. There are no shortcuts. Treat your work and foreign language readers with the respect they deserve. You won't fool anyone with this.
Amazon has launched a new AI-driven translation service, Kindle Translate, for Kindle Direct Publishing authors 👇 #BookSky

I’ve never understand why they cast someone who looks like Orlando Bloom wearing a wig to play Bard the Bowman in The Hobbit. These people look too similar to be in the same film together, playing different roles.
