I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

Ça serait bien de par exemple penser à faire un plan de jouvence technologique sobre (des machines moins puissantes, mais avec des logiciels/sites moins gourmands, plus durables, des architectures open source etc) mais ça n'arrivera jamais.
Souveraineté informatique ? On ne peut plus commander de PC car la RAM, les SSD etc. sont préemptés par les grands opérateurs de l'IA.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
