Talking with Thomas was a real delight! Heather and I peel back the curtain on the process behind Carved in Stone (and we gush about how much we love all of our artists, too!)
The Picts were always more than their blue-painted, bloodthirsty depictions. Carved in Stone, a new setting guide from @stoutstoat.co.uk and archaeologist Heather Christie, invites players to explore their incomplete but beautiful history.
Carved in Stone is both a history book and an eye-catching RPG
Publisher Brian Tyrrell and archeologist Heather Christie paint a pretty Pict-ure.

Carved in Stone is officially out!

In this comprehensive setting guide you'll be able to see, touch, taste, hear and smell your way through everything that modern-day scholars currently know of the enigmatic culture of the Picts, from the perspective of someone living in the late 7th Century.

Katelyn is an excellent journalist and if you can sign up for her paid Patreon I doubt you’ll regret it. She provides very valuable insight.
I am only 142 paid Patreon members from hitting my end of year goal. I'd like to get there this week.

To entice you, I am offering 20% off your first year on annual memberships all this week. Can you help me hit this important milestone?

This is the hardest I have seen any member of Congress work to try and address transphobia in Congress, and her ability to get nearly all Democratic lawmakers to sign onto this letter is something any first would applaud
House Dems unite to tell GOP to stop "demonizing" trans people with "dehumanizing" slurs - LGBTQ Nation
Rep. Nancy Mace's "tra**y, tra**y, tra**y!" tirade is just one example.

Not seeing much on Bluesky vs Twitter but St. Elizabeth parish in Jamaica is devastated after Hurricane Melissa made landfall there yesterday.

This is the government’s official support site, which is quite well organized.
#Jamaica needs our support more than ever right now and, never ones to shy away from self-reliance, they’ve set up an officially sanctioned website for recovery donations. The footage of Hurricane Melissa’s destruction in St. Elizabeth coming in from my family is HARROWING.

The GOP really wants to have this majority during the 2028 presidential race.
