I randomly read this for the first time maybe two years ago, just browsing through the Hoopla graphic novel catalogue (support your local library, folks!), and it was such a great time! I love indie comics so much, you guys!

First time reading the series that put my social media friend @brandtandstein.com on the map. The visual inventiveness was there from the beginning, but it is amazing to me how much crisper and cleaner their art has gotten in 7 years, starting great and getting better.

While US venture capitalists were buying monkey jpegs, and DOGE coins, and figuring out how to get Black women fired, and tweeting about white birthrates, and trying to mandate which bathroom trans kids should use, China was making progress on climate change and taking the lead in a real industry.
China has made cheap, clean energy available in huge quantities. The world should take the win econ.st/4oqFszB

I think it’s also worth noting – because I think this is sometimes taken for granted with artists – that I worked really REALLY hard on this music. It’s rich, it’s dense, it’s layered, and it took a looooong time.
But I also think what I’m offering you is worth your time, because of that effort.
