The world learned today that you absolutely have to bully this dumb old asshole as a collective. Better late than never for them, but we better get used to being aggressively humiliated for the next few years.

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.
His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him

It’s me, talking about why resistance is very much *not* futile - and why it’s imperative to push back against the Trumpist assertions of dominance and inevitable authoritarian power.
Widerstand heißt auch: Nicht alles glauben, was das Regime erzählt. Stattdessen: Dagegenhalten! #Trump

'Why aren't they in the streets' is answered almost every day in my small town by people in the streets! Rather than asking 'why aren't they in the streets' it's worth asking 'why isn't your media showing them in the streets' and 'who is served by downplaying resistane in its myriad forms.'
The idea that there are no protests in the US and no one is standing up to Trump is proving incredibly hard to kill over here in Germany. It’s become dogma, utterly detached from empirical reality.

I wonder if the people who keep talking like that understand they’re perpetuating regime propaganda.

Like when Natives said they didn't like the mascots ppl could've left it alone. Instead it required protest, and political education. Ppl ended up learning a lot of history they didn't want to hear. Then just complained Natives are "making ppl feel guilty" "cuz over sensitive".
It's wild that alot of ppl were forced into this via the "social justice" space that became a thing and never left but instead of resenting that we need "big words" and middle men to address the violence ppl will be like "it's the sjw fault!"
There's very much a reason why I had to level up in my writing, JUST to be able to articulate the levels of violence Natives are up against with necro politics and such.

Iykyk, but the one thing I've learned about game dev very early on is that if there's a big controversial writing decision, the writing team will have flagged it, they were ignored, and they will be the ones blamed regardless
Call me old-fashioned, but I think it’s incredibly crass to demand certain (controversial) story beats from your writing team, fire that writing team, then throw that writing team under the bus for decisions *they didn’t make* while marketing your new thing.
Very crass! Very ick!

They're the same picture, because masking foils surveillance.

Easy to compare this to Hitler demanding the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia to avoid war, but Sudetenland was German-speaking and there was strong support for German occupation (obviously not in rest of Czechoslovakia) this stands in sharp contrast where Greenland is strongly opposed to US occupation
Trump: "I'm seeking immediate negotiations to discuss the acquisition of Greenland by the United States"

I try to be sensitive to not proclaiming things to be new that are not new, but I’m not aware of a time when this has been the way a president talked about other countries with which we had no conflict. Certainly not in my lifetime.
For instance: "Canada lives by the benefit of the United States. Remember that, Mark, when you make your statements."

Attn news commentators: Trump saying he could use force to obtain Greenland but won’t is not Trump saying he won’t use force to obtain Greenland. It is Trump using force as a threat to obtain Greenland. That is why he mentions it.

They'll blame a lot of stuff on Trump AND try to fast-track an even uglier white supremacist techno-Christofascism.

We must prept for this now & organize accordingly.
Grassroots activism, coalitions. Dissent. Sand in gears. Strikes.

Every angle.

We've done everything they want and they still won't treat us as equals

So we can do that back because our lives depend on our rights

Fuck anyone not about that

They want to be badass warrior spies with no mercy, no rules until they face the *tiniest* bit of accountability, then they cry like babies who got their juice box stolen.
VAN SUSTEREN: The church -- that's a particularly troubling issue because you got a pastor, I purposely didn't name it, he's reportedly associated with ICE

NOEM: Thank you for not naming him. People don't realize that when you keep naming someone over and over, you increase the threats against them

Trump: Greenland “is the northern frontier of the Western hemisphere. It’s our territory.”
