Finally out! We studied the retinas of the longest-living vertebrate, the Greenland shark, and found that the retinas remain remarkably healthy in animals around 150 years old. What is the mechanism? It may be a highly efficient DNA repair system. Enjoy!

Yay, our new species is out! Only two Xanthephialtes species were known to exist from before, now we've added a third from Uganda.

Anisota just got more accessible — you can now switch to sans serif!

After reviewing many typefaces, we chose Atkinson Hyperlegible — developed by the Braille Institute. It maintains Anisota's vibe while also offering greater legibility for those who need it!

I am getting really tired of the anti-book and anti-library vibe in this country. It's a self-inflicted wound on our culture.

They did this when GISS in NYC was closed. Books were just trashed. They could at least donate this to a library or charity or school. Do something with this heritage.

Open up this picture fully.

Then look at the surface of Mars.

Then look up to the top right.

Spot Mars' moon Phobos high in the sky.

Then notice the bright spot beside Phobos.

That's Earth.
