Working hypotheses: Orban, Fico, Le Pen, Wagenknect, Yanukovitch, Trump, etc, are Russian saboteurs, not just spies. Putin can only win his global war against democracy in the capitols of free societies. Political proxies are his main weapons. #NAFO

Yes, but more specifically: It's sabotage.

When you think of Trump as a Russian weapon being used to do maximum long-term damage to the US, everything he does makes sense.
The Trump National Security Strategy is an act of vandalism against the things that actually make our country strong, safe, and prosperous.

This is in apparent fulfillment of a Trump directive to "destroy Tim Walz," Minnesota's governor. "Immigration enforcement" is a pretext for visiting a maximum amount of violence, brutality and economic damage on the state of Minnesota and its people. bsky.app/profile/will...
The # of agents sent to Minnesota — 2,000 and apparently growing — is 10X what was sent to Charlotte or New Orleans

Do the math
if you want to know what it is like in minneapolis, I don’t even have to scroll on facebook to find a horror story. it’s basically my whole feed.

everyone i know in minneapolis is seeing ICE take people—at gas stations, taquerias, bus stops, schools. just snatching random people.

Cities and states can and should fire law enforcement officers unwilling to follow orders of elected officials. And they should make that very clear up front. Act like you're in charge. Because you are.
Yeah to say a bit more if a mayor doesn’t think they can order police to confront ICE because the police are disloyal to their democratic representatives then a mayor should say that outloud instead of pretending it’s a firepower issue.

I think the more important question here that no one is asking (or wants to ask) is: would cops even be willing to arrest their buddies? And if they refuse, what does that mean? And if they agree, do we now have a war between different state and federal militarized US agencies?

Both Clinton and Harris warned voters very explicitly about all of this, but it was very important those warnings be twisted to suggest they’re a little too strident, too emotional.

This is the heart of it.

Any press coverage that gullibly paints this partisan punitive campaign of retribution as "fighting crime" or "enforcing immigration laws" is actively complicit in a government campaign to punish dissent.
whats missing from all the coverage is that the president is using the military to harass, brutalize and punish areas of the country that didnt vote for him

Trump is clearly not well.

At a meeting with oil industry CEO’s Trump suddenly interrupts his introductory remarks, gets up and looks out the window and starts talking about his ballroom. Trump then realizes his mistake and says “unusual time to look”, and sits back down to continue.

They do have among their head positions abhorrent scumbags like Kevin Rothrock (managing editor) who appear to have the same foundational views as Putin, just less violent and stupid about them.

Which simply isn't good enough for me to tolerate giving them a single cent.

This depraved prick uses that term bc it puts his enemies on the defensive. They cower.

Fact-checking is censorship. Labeling is censorship. TRANSPARENCY is censorship.

Now, “no nonconsensual nudes” is censorship.

Good reporting that explains how ICE/CBP are creating the conditions that allow them to justify the use of violence by ignoring basic best practices when it comes to traffic stops.

The majority of people shot by ICE/CBP with these stops are citizens.
WSJ investigation: In the past 6 months ICE agents have fired at vehicles 13 times, leading to:

* 8 people shot
* 5 of which were U.S. citizens
* 2 died
* no victims drew a weapon

The playbook: Agents box in a vehicle, block attempts to flee, then fire

The idea that it is “immigration enforcement” is absurd. This is not even a place with a lot of undocumented immigrants. Most of our major immigrant groups - Somali and Hmong - are here lawfully, they might even be majority citizens. The feds are here on a mission of violence and chaos

Yes, it’s really hard to capture the full scale of the federal assault on the Twin Cities. At any given point dozens of locations being harassed, across Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and the 185 suburbs. Hundreds of roaming cars, highway checkpoints, heavily armed convoys. We are under attack
People keep asking “where” ICE is in Roseville and I’m like “they’re everywhere, assume they’re everywhere”

And also there are thousands of community members observing and monitoring and protecting
