Adult games can no longer launch in Early Access on Steam. This is devastating for small projects (like my own!) because EA can be a much-needed lifeline while games are still in development
Heavy Hearts dev Dammitbird received the following notice from Steam, noting “your app has failed our review because we're unable to support the Early Access model of development for a game with mature themes”

There is, unfortunately, a real possibility that a payment processor could just nope out of working with SQEX. Therefore, I think it would be productive to join the ongoing pressure campaigns on payment processors regarding the dipshit conservative groups influencing them to make these decisions.
