Hands is not a bot. Beep boop.

They/Them
Considering their approval rating is very very low, probably very little. UK Labour won because people wanted Anyone But Conservatives and are likely to lose the next election because they've spent the whole time doing conservative shit to accommodate people who did not vote for them and never will.

GDC really just doubling down on being a conference only for the most privileged developers. Really reframes the absurd price. Perhaps it wasn't just greed, the fact it kept out a lot of devs who weren't cishet white dudes was apparently a selling point.

Seriously. This wouldn't have passed muster in 2020, let alone 2026. Not only is he a mass murderer, you have to specify which instance of mass murder you're talking about. The boats in 2025? Attacking Venezuela? Actively blocking the feds response to COVID? Blocking aid to PR after Hurricane Maria?

Funny how many centrist strawmen there are about leftists being unwilling to compromise and demanding *the perfect candidate." Meanwhile we're out here looking at a billionaire going "he is good enough," and centrists won't accept him because he doesn't seem to hate trans folk enough for them.

Paragon was Epic. You might be thinking of Crucible?

It is wild they spent hundreds of millions of dollars while making the kind of rookie mistakes you'd get from a bunch of ambitious teens who bit off more than they could chew.

Dems didn't treat Fascism as an existential threat, they treated it as a fundraising opportunity. Why would anyone take the threat seriously if Democrats are treating it like business as usual? Their tone hasn't really changed, they aren't taking it seriously now, but they didn't before either.
January 15, 2026 at 8:46 PM
I think part of the reason people were not swayed by the threat of Fascism was that Dems refused to use every tool at their disposal to stop it. They didn't file the Mueller charges to get Trump off the street. They promised the GOP they'd never try to pack the court to protect Roe v Wade.
January 15, 2026 at 8:46 PM
Given Trump apparently smells like a rotting corpse rolled in a pile of human feculence I think JD may just be prepared to handle whatever Nurgle's Strongest Son can offer.
January 14, 2026 at 11:45 PM
Yeah, but also most of these dipshits don't know history. These people know the Nazis and like the Nazis and despite homegrown fascist movements specifically idolize Hitler and the Nazi Party.

They're not quoting Nazis as 4D chess to obfuscate their love of American fascists. They just like Nazis.

Love how the ruling on the Black Hills amounted to "Yes the treaty still stands, yes this is legally your land, yes we have no right to claim it, no you're not getting it back."
January 14, 2026 at 10:12 PM
His "base" is the Democratic establishment. The fact that they had the power under Obama and Biden to go after people in the Epstein files and did not, indicates that his "base" would not reject him.
January 14, 2026 at 7:54 PM
and hey, now thanks to their delusions, racism and how they voted that might be true.
January 14, 2026 at 7:36 PM
That was also the day after cops around the country did their performative "kneel in solidarity." There are pictures of cops, some even the same cops that tried to murder Martin Gugino, feigning support for the protesters not 20 hours earlier.

It definitely came from a simple, childish mind but not a 3 year old.
January 14, 2026 at 1:44 AM
They absolutely love to juice their numbers with nonsense. I remember reading about a department listing an officer "lost in the line of duty" when he had a heart attack while out for a jog, off duty, on vacation in another city.
January 14, 2026 at 12:02 AM
Thinking about how some people do jobs that are statistically less dangerous than delivering pizzas but think we should praise them for their bravery.
January 13, 2026 at 9:33 PM
I'd say there is also a good chance the same people who said it doesn't apply to Mamdani will use it to support Nazis.
January 13, 2026 at 7:06 AM
Nationalize starlink and start safely deorbiting his trash before he triggers Kessler syndrome and blocks us from space for hundreds of years.
January 13, 2026 at 5:38 AM
I think it is less that it won't need to happen and more than Epic is not offering that kind of deal for that much money anymore.

AW2 was not a success for Epic's store because it's so bad at promotion that they had all of Kingdom Hearts for 3 years and people still went "I wish KH had a PC port."
January 13, 2026 at 3:33 AM
All their political master plans feel tautological, a mess of circular logic that the shitty status quo needs to be preserved for the sake of preserving the shitty status quo.
January 13, 2026 at 3:18 AM
It doesn't help that Establishment Dem's idea of 4D chess is that they can't get rid of the fillibuster while in power because then they can't use it when they're out of power, but also they won't use it when they're out of power because then Republicans will get rid of it.
January 13, 2026 at 3:15 AM
It was more than their families. They've managed to make it this far living as functional adult despite being virulent white supremacists. US society as a whole has been set up to coddle these men.
January 13, 2026 at 1:33 AM
I mean I was speaking sarcastically from the point of view of an ignorant fuckwit who actively worked to make history repeat itself. That lot takes a very narrow view of the Nazis crimes because their actions are otherwise indefensible. Lowballing is accurate for portraying that brand of dipshit.
January 13, 2026 at 1:28 AM
But remember, it was "disrespectful to the victims of the Nazi regime" to compare Trump's rhetoric in 2016 to the Nazis of the 1920s and 1930s.

You can only truly respect the victims of Nazism by waiting until 6 million people are dead. It's what they'd have wanted. /s
