This can only possibly work for a game you pay for. Millions of people buy Mortal Kombat, play the single player, and then never boot it up again after that 15-20 hours is over. That just doesn’t work for a free to play title.
The 2XKO situation just reaffirms to me that Fighting Games need to have single player content.
