Messing around with Bazzite. Borderlands 4 is already kind of a notorious shader compiling game, but I think it's been sitting here at this screen for like 45 minutes.

Was all set to blow away the Windows 11 install on my secondary PC to give Bazzite a shot but it looks like you can't do VRR over HDMI with Nvidia cards in Linux? I keep this thing hooked up to the TV, so that'd be... yeah. Hmm.

Got a few people responding to this and calling it "crashing out," which is super weird to me. It's like... having fun about some dumb shit (RGB lighting in PC cases) while also being kinda serious about how toxic and disgustingly dismissive the whole "let people enjoy things" thing can be?

Hey, here's a look at a new first-person shooter on PC called Out of Action. It's in Early Access. Kind of a cyberpunk-style thing happening here with some really interesting ideas around dives, rolls, and... well, one of the character classes can jet boost around in the air, it's neat. It's neat!

Hey, here's a look at a new first-person shooter on PC called Out of Action. It's in Early Access. Kind of a cyberpunk-style thing happening here with some really interesting ideas around dives, rolls, and... well, one of the character classes can jet boost around in the air, it's neat. It's neat!
It's great to see Trackmania still getting updates. It's still kind of a weird business model, but I'm somewhere in the middle of my second three-year subscription and it's always felt like it was worth it.
