Hands is not a bot. Beep boop.

They/Them
I constantly think about that 2006 Fox News segment that was like "Can you believe 80% of the people on food stamps also have the luxury appliances like Electric Refrigeration Units and Colour Television sets? Clearly they can't actually be struggling to eat."

You need that section with someone who doesn't appreciate you, who doesn't make space for you, who won't even let you take down a single fucking movie poster from the living room so you can display your diploma. You need the bullshit of 2010 to appreciate the space being made in the 2015 chapter.

You can't convince me this isn't a Kyle Gordon character.

Who could have guessed the guy Republicans named as an "acceptable moderate" for the Supreme Court would be deeply compromised and biased in their favour.

"Sure they've spent decades now operating exclusively in bad faith, lying to us constantly and are actively trying to destroy the government but like he pinky promised he wouldn't screw me this time"

It took so long between the IOC passing rules to allow trans women and the first one simply competing, not even winning, that there are cis women who were born, grew up and won olympic medals in between.

But somehow this is unfair to cis women.

Man asks chatbot for a top 10 list of books to make himself look smart, only gets 9 back and runs with it anyway.

Really feels like "Moderate" Dems saw people posting "Better Things Are Possible" last week and said "not if I can help it."
November 10, 2025 at 4:18 AM
It demonstrates for like the 6th time this year that the moment you threaten Democrats personal plans they will cave. You don't have to give them anything. You just say if they don't vote in favor they'll have to work through a long weekend or holiday and they fold like a cheap suit.

Schumer couldn't even bring himself to say he voted for a wildly popular candidate in his party and not the known sexual predator that wasted millions of taxpayer dollars trying to harass and threaten his victims into silence.

Demise, maybe?

It should also be mentioned they didn't acquire Zellers in it's entirety. No, that would have made sense. Instead they bought the buildings cheap when Zellers ran into financial trouble.

They were trying to build a supply chain while opening 127 stores in one year. Shelves went empty for months.

I love how much Conservatives hype themselves up about going against the grain and making the hard choices other people couldn't make.

Yeah, because those choices are things like "shooting a puppy for being a puppy." They're hard choices because they suck and have no redeeming feature.

"I've advised a number of tech companies on reinventing phrenology"
"Did it work for those companies?"
*laughs* "No, it never does. I mean these companies somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but... but it might work for us."

Love how they try to pinkwash it with the claim they'll also be blacklisting xenophobes and homophobes. I guess they're going 100% AI then because you're not finding someone who doesn't support Palestinians right to exist and isn't a fucking racist.

So rather than directly push back on the actual Left, and risk a schism the establishment use their power to make rules like "No Primary Challengers" or "Vote Blue No Matter Who." Rules that are Core Party Values right up to the second the left might benefit and then are immediately discarded.
November 6, 2025 at 3:33 AM
It's important to remember a primary goal of the Democratic party establishment is to stop leftward movement. One of the best tools they have is declaring themselves "The Left." There is value in being the only choice for progressives and getting to decide what being "The Left" means.

It was less "begging for forgiveness" and more "we've both done things you regret, and while I'd still happily sell you out again I am willing in the spirit of good faith to accept your apology to me."

Newsom invited Charlie Kirk to be his first guest on his podcast. He went out of his way to tell Kirk how much his son loves Kirks work. When Kirk spewed transphobia, Newsom nodded along. He platforms, praises and agrees with white supremacists. He isn't saving anyone.

I understand that. The "Pretending" from the second sentence carries through to the rest of the post. I know when it happened, the point is the way democrats act, trying to draw paint Trump as the beginning and end of all the terrible behaviour from the right, makes it seem like *they* don't know.
November 5, 2025 at 3:47 AM
They're covering their eyes and plugging their ears. Pretending all 6 of the SCOTUS judges tearing up the US Constitution were put there by Trump. That REDMAP started in 2017. The Brooks Brothers Riot was 2016.
They want to return to 2010 when the GOP was only 3/4s of the way to crowning a king.

Say what you will about Dick Cheney but he made sure that when he celebrated all the millions of people he murdered, he didn't do it using the AT Protocol.

Their rule blacklisting anyone involved in a primary challenge against a sitting democrat was also supposed to cut both ways, but then a Kennedy challenged a sitting Democrat Senator for starting to lean more to the left. So the rule was thrown out. These rules were only ever meant to cut one way.

I mean Kirk only really managed the third thing and libs were tripping over themselves to praise his dead ass.
