It sucks that there’s more outrage over Pretti’s killing than Good’s, which is undoubtedly because he was a white guy and not a lesbian (the gun bullshit is pretty equal to the car bullshit), but hopefully that saves lives in the long run. ICE agents just summarily executed a well-respected ICU/VA nurse for the “crime” of videoing them while also carrying a licensed firearm. Where you at, 2nd Amendment folks? Shouldn’t you be yelling the loudest right now?
Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
