Tottenham Hotspur, video games, wrasslin' and tomfoolery. Born to eat big dinners. One of Bart's People. Expat from COYS Twitter
The only joy I get from that goal is knowing that it wipes out some clean sheets in FPL.

Routine 2-0 loss today. We won't lay a glove on them. Might as well not bother watching.

If only for the look on Szczęsny's face as he knows he should have done better with Walker's effort.

Killers Of The Flower Moon made me want to read The Wager. After finishing the latter I instantly wanted to buy everyone I knew a copy because it was so brilliant.
Ok BlueSky: what are your favorite history books in terms of sheer page-turning, narrative propulsion? Thinking along the line of Killers of the Flower Moon, etc. Nonfiction chronicles that read like novels or movies.

In the age of AI, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein gets the monster right:

-Preening college dropout founder desperate to troll and provoke
-Secures financing from war profiteer
-Unethically harvests key materials for startup from people living and dead without consent
-Takes 0 responsibility
Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein' gets the monster right for the age of AI
Too bad he lets the founders off easy.

This is as bad as anything proposed by Reform.
