Signing Bassit is disappointing in the broader view of the offseason but still makes the team better so yay

I understand every day is a crisis in birdland on here but Alonso sure seems like the guy we’ve been dying to have in this clubhouse for years.

Lesson learned for me at least
Thomas Frank at Tottenham: another manager who has previously done well with direct football struggling to adjust to the demands of a bigger club. It basically never works, and clubs should probably stop trying it.
