The tech industry committed mass IP theft to get their gAI project rolling. They're relying entirely on investors and they're bleeding out that money faster than they can make it back off users.

The whole business model here is a reckless shot in the dark with no contingency plan. Let them crash.
Good morning! AI is being force-fed to you by a handful of billionaires who will lose a bunch of money if they fail to convince you that you need it. You do not need it 🫶

Zohran's campaign was his determination to make New York a city everyone can afford to live in. Huge congratulations!

His success will resonate throughout the world. A story where no one is left behind.

It's time to write that story across England & Wales too.

Lappartient basically making the UAE regime a partner of UCI is legit one the grossest thing to happen to the sport of cycling in a long time.
(And we've had a LOT of gross things!)
When we look at this massacre and many more perpetrated by the RSF, let's be clear who funds, equips & sustains them. It's the UAE. Yes, the same UAE that might own your football club, fly you on your holidays, invests in our national infrastructure. If boycotts work, we should be boycotting now.
“Individuals on the ground sent a message that reached us Monday morning that 1,200 were dead,” Nathaniel Raymond, the lab’s executive director, said. “By that evening, they said 10,000. By Tuesday, we couldn’t reach them anymore. We assume our ground contacts are dead.”

1. It's fascinating to see, as you can from the responses to the post below, how many daft things people believe, to justify their continued meat eating. So let's examine a few of the common myths in the following thread. 🧵
For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.
Remember this, whenever someone says "alternative proteins - yuck!"

7. No, Europe did not become “great” through meat-eating. Thoughout the entire early modern and modern periods until the late 19th Century, the vast majority here ate very little meat. Only imports of beef and lamb from the colonies, enabled by genocide, expulsion and land clearing, changed that.
