Plus the racing AND broadcast format means that even if the win seems set in stone, we get to see a LOT more of all the other competitors too and not just via super frustrating footage of dysfunctional chase group dynamics...

Also, my tolerance for predictability in CX is honestly bigger than for most road races because 1) there's always the opportunity of bizarre surprises along the race, 2) the challenger cast is generally way more entertaining and exciting to me and 3) it literally only lasts for an hour tops. 🤷🏻♀️😅
