I paint the land from the Anishinaabe perspective that we are all one.
I camp on the land and listen to what She tells me. Then I come back to the studio and paint her stories.

Each painting becomes an object infused with nature’s messages.

Memories of plunging my hand deep into the very cold peat to uncover Iron Age wooden planks last seen over 2,000 years ago.

In 1986, I started work on my first archaeology dig at Corlea 1, dated to 148/147 BC. I didn’t know then it would be some of the most spectacular archaeology of my career.

For starters - no Irish State/Gov agencies/politicians should be on Twitter. None. They could do this today and it would actually be more than just empty words.

Good morning, Bluesky. Misty here in the Scottish Highlands today.

Today’s #photooftheday is a favourite walking spot. There’s always something beautiful to see and I always stop at this minor waterfall - just look at that moss 😍 Caught a rainbow that day too. Have a great day.

The Catherine Connolly campaign has reignited my urge to learn Irish. I have the Now You're Talking book and tapes from 25 odd years ago, but of course no tape player. Someone has handily converted the tapes to audio files you can listen to here: www.tripswithkevin.com/irish-on-you... #speirgorm

When you make toys for babies, you don't have to make something fancy. Just make something soft, easy to grab, and possible to wash. I used to make these fluffy bunnies, and I had a good stock, but now I'm out!
