If you want to know how absolutely unfit for purpose AI is, and how dangerous this headlong dive into "Yay! Let's let AI do *everything*", is...

Just ask yourself how often YOU have to correct "autocorrect".

THAT technology is being put in charge of vital services.

For the love of *sanity*, stop.

Farage has been touring Davos all week pledging to “fight the globalists” - all funded by a $10 billion trust run on behalf of an Iranian billionaire.

I love Blackadder II. It remains one of the BBC's best things ever. Watch in the first episode though... when Flashheart nuts Percy clean out of the doors at the wedding ceremony. The entire set looks like it's coming down...
Decent article about B7. It does resort to the tired trope of "wobbly sets" though. It's always sci-fi shows that get this treatment. No-one ever mentions Fawlty Towers, where the sets moved like the Tacoma Bridge.
How Blake's 7 was massively ahead of its time when it first aired – and why it fits perfectly in the modern TV landscape
Decades before TV embraced anti-heroes, moral grey areas and brutal endings, Blake’s 7 was already rewriting the rules.

There are some events that pass into Glasgow folklore.

Back in 1989, the Toledo cinema genuinely did advertise the enticing triple-bill of 'Big', 'Frantic', 'Shag' - not something you usually get in Muirend!

457 UK armed forces personnel died in Afghanistan during the 20-year deployment.
This is a fucking hideous thing to say. Even by his non-existent standards.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

If the UK media now do not apply equal harsh measures to Nigel Farage than they did to Angela Raynor, then they are complicit in
a) a Mysoginist narrative where men are forgiven and women 'should have known better' and
b) are actively saying they are okay with Farage in charge.
