So - with the Greens now nearly overtaking Labour - are we now going to hear all of the centrists (yes James O'Brian - I AM also talking about you) that if you don't vote for Zack Polanski you are giving Farage your vote?

Because if not STFU.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Post Office Horizon IT contract extended for another year.

PO to pay £41m to Fujitsu.

Fujitsu was instrumental in persecution of innocent postmasters. £1.2bn compensation paid from public purse. More to follow. Fujitsu haven't paid a penny, no one has been charged.

Why is Fujitsu being rewarded?

This is a vastly unreported issue.

A friend of mine is quite vocal about how much a Reform government scares him.

I really think the mainstream media should be doing more to report the concerns of our ethnic minority friends and neighbours.
Reform have a reputation as racist with a plurality of white British voters (45-38 (+7 net) and majority of ethnic minority voters (69%to 16-18%: +51 net). That reputation for prejudice is rejected by most who vote Reform. (5% of Reform voters do say that they see their party as racist)

Ofwat letting England water firms charge twice to tackle sewage, court to hear

Companies billed people for sewage disposal, used cash to pay dividends and exec bonuses, dumped sewage in rivers.

Now charging again to fund promised investment, not raising capital from shareholders. Customers fleeced

This is not just the US - this is worldwide.
And compound interest makes that this is only going to go faster, not slower.

The system has a fatal flaw and we need to fix it.
If we don't we will all suffer the consequences.
This shit is so crazy and so obviously our biggest problem underlying everything and anyone who says otherwise is either greedy or blind

We said what we said
The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Toast is better cold than hot. Especially true with butter and jam so they both sit nicely on the surface instead of melting and making the toast soggy. I've even started putting mine in the fridge for a few minutes from the toaster.

I hate Rachel Reeves probably more than most.
Have been screaming for years on why I think she's the wrong person for the job.

But the party of 'cutting red tape' (Cons) - SHOULD message 'if she doesn't have to do it - can we then cut it for others too please?

This is just openly spiteful

Gates comes out of the gate just after this week we've seen
a) A person dies every minute because of a heating planet
b) we've past the disastrous 1.5C global warming threshold
c) the worst hurricane recorded due to global warming just hit Jamaica and now Cuba.

Othering at its best/worst.
This is just mind-bendingly wrong-headed. ‘Let’s just adapt, tech will save us’ has always been a reckless strategy, but as evidence mounts that natural carbon sinks are failing it really does start to sink into a form of climate denialism.
