I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

He videotaped it and the police had the evidence.

Not for nothing, this is one reason why we say "pregnant patient" instead of "woman." It's not just for non-binary inclusion.
In addition to the fact that it's very much the power imbalance and legal responsibility to protect them that makes them children, it's also disturbing that so many people are willingly like "listen, 15 year olds are hot, and that's a fact." They are children. They look like children.

They are taking credit for something that absolutely would not exist without basic scientific research funded by the former operating process of NIH. Chances are the savings they managed to procure are linked to some other back door deal we are unware of — Trump voiced desire to own the company.

This is 100% unacceptable. Since when is having a pistol in the car cause to take away a US citizen? Protocol would be to have CYS come to take the child regardless — not to drive her away with 2 heavily armed officers. Horrific.
