One big difference between Mamdani and Cuomo and Sliwa is that one of these people is running seriously, and full time, and always out talking to people. Cuomo’s insane sense of entitlement means he doesn’t think he should have to, and Sliwa always runs for the same reason Trump did for years.

I never understand folks who complain abt how OTHER ppl protest. If you don’t like protesters to cuss or where frog suits, why don’t YOU go protest wearing a tuxedo and reciting the Magna Carta? No one’s stopping you, least of all the frogman, who will likely leap for joy for your involvement

In summary, having the desired actions of the President limited by decisions Congress makes isn't an error that has to be fixed, it's the entire point of why our government was designed the way it was

SCOTUS has once again decided that Congress doesn't actually have any power, so can someone ask them "if Congress doesn't have the power of the purse and the president can fire Congressionally-appointed people without its permission, then why list this branch of government in the Constitution?"
