#neutrinos
Did you know that about 100 trillion neutrinos pass through your body like every second? And once you wear this beanie, ... you'll still have as many passing through.

To be fair this is irrelevant the faraday beanie's claims, I just find neutrinos kinda neat.
They gentrified the tinfoil hat

I’ll wait until they come up with one that also blocks neutrinos.

History question... do you know what was the first paper to suggest that neutrino oscillations could resolve the solar neutrino problem? I found "Are neutrinos stable particles?"
Bahcall, Cabibbo, Yahil PRL 28 (1972) suggesting neutrino mass→decay as a resolution. They have a prophetic footnote…

Fun fact: Back then we thought neutrinos had no mass.

Ghosts do exist but they are imprinted on all the neutrinos which have ever passed through your body leaving a long spiral shaped like you trailing behind the earth and flying out into the galaxy at roughly the speed of light.

One things that bugs me about the no-progress-in-physics grifters is that when I was at university the first time we were missing two-thirds of solar neutrinos, trying to find out if the universe would expand or contract, and didn’t know things like the age of those rings.

I am begging everyone on here to read this new post by Bryan Johnson — the super rich tech guy who is now doing the “never die” protocol.

I need to talk about it with you all.

fuck!!! i put on a video about supernovas and started talking about neutrinos during a date what's wrong with me!!!

John N. Bahcall was born #OTD in 1934. The discrepancy between his model of the solar neutrino flux and the measured rate, known as the « Solar neutrino problem », is due to neutrinos oscillating between different flavors.

if you're ever feeling down, remember. like a bajillion neutrinos just went through you reading this. like this many 👐. and it did nothing

“Why do we need neutron detectors? Aren’t those particles really difficult to detect? I don’t want to build a huge subterranean tank!”

“Those are for neutrinos.”

“…I thought ‘neutrino’ was just the Spanish word for ‘neutron’…”
