Look at all of this cheap shit. Now imagine the gold bling is cats. Dusty ceramic cat statues, little embroidered pictures of cats, old framed posters of cats so old the ink has faded.

Today's Morbid Anatomy Krampus Market at Industry City was a lot of fun! There were lots of sellers hawking dark and spooky art, jewelry, and vintage knickknacks. You can see our haul in the photos. (Alexa also bought a small skull ring, not pictured.)

that's a shame, i feel like all of the big name museums I've been to have really solid gift shops. i have not been to the MoMa but i went to the MoMa *shop* in hong kong (lol) and they don't just have museum merch but REALLY cool unique designed knickknacks for not crazy prices

i was very pleased when i visited the tate and they had both the funny little knickknacks (got a really sick kadinsky water bottle) AND racks full of postcards and exhibit books

As far as chains go, you can do much worse. Maybe platonic ideal of a road trip restaurant: you're frustrated from traffic, you just want to shut your brain off and have something predictable, and as a bonus you can shop for knickknacks or rest on a rocker while you wait.
