Here it is, my annual list of the books I read this year! 2025 was the year I consciously made more time for reading, and as a result, I read far more books this year than last. In fact, I read 29, coming very close to my goal of reading 30 books a year! (1/8)

I wanted to like GOOD BOY more than I did. I loved the premise and I thought the dog was great, but the story was repetitive and slow for its short runtime. There isn't all that much going on. I have a lot of respect the amount of work that went into making it, but ultimately I wanted more from it.

WAKE UP DEAD MAN was a lot of fun! Locked-room mysteries are the best kind, and I had a zillion theories as I watched the case unfold. I'm really enjoying these Benoit Blanc mysteries and hope there will be more!

Good for him! However, as the article states, "According to a recent survey from the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank, almost a third of Republicans under the age of 50 openly express racist or antisemitic views," so this will probably fall on deaf ears.
