There are a lot of examples of Elon Musk's stupidity, but this while Mars thing... Maybe the dumbest? Such an effective con, too. People really want it to be possible. I love sci-fi, but that magic ain't even close to real.

On the other hand, if Musk decides to launch himself at Mars? Godspeed.

Yes, parents, it is a hard decision whether to buy your child a voice-activated, AI Teddy Bear connected to the Internet, but when you choose to do so it is both smart and good for your child to have unfettered access to the web via a machine that lies.
