Thank you. Realism, not dooming. This is our watchword to ‘26, ‘28, and beyond.

Also this banger of a quote from the same letter:

"If resistance to the Slave Power was the reserved watchword of your first election, the triumphant war cry of your re-election is Death to Slavery."

Abolitionists were in the same place in 1860 as prison abolitionists & climate action are now.

Solidarity must be the watchword both at the front and at home.

“Canon has always been a real watchword for us”

the way jeffries hopes this plays out is he makes enough of the right noises to placate voters in the run-up to his primary, gets re-elected and then goes back to being useless when/if dems take back the majority in congress.

"useless" is the watchword here - he's never gonna be anything but that.

Ah, did they heck...

In the words of Wikipedia constant tinkering produced ships with "poor stability, insufficient armor protection, and excessive displacement".

And typically for French vessels it also produced a unified class of three entirely different designs...

“Confidence within capability” isn’t a bad watchword.
If the tortilla moves without sticking, it’s time to consider flipping; if the lid’s big enough to contain the whole tortilla (I use the lid to help shape the tortilla as it cooks and sets); and if there isn’t excess oil to dribble, you’re good.

Cruel, hateful and vindictive. And in full accord with the watchword of this administration--hypocrisy above all.

Make Politics Local Again. Make Affordability Your Watchword!
Any Democrat worried about talking about Mamdani should just learn the lesson of his victory — pivot to affordability and local issues. That’s how he won, and it’s how every Democrat will win in 2026. It’s not hard.

Cruelty is the watchword of this administration. If it’s not cruel, it’s not worth doing.

Actually I’ve just checked and it turns out I first met Norman in 1986. Doesn’t make any difference but accuracy is my watchword.

Favorite moment of todays event: A person was sitting quietly, very intently playing Watchword for the first time. "Oh no...... I'm gonna have to buy this game" 😂

Loved to see so many people enjoy my little creation ♥️

given the history of ceasefire attempts, "wait and see" should be the watchword

All my professors have also told me this and it's kind of my watchword. Like if I am ever not having fun I just change my style and environment until I am again.

…when Mr. Stair stepped in. He refused to sell them anything, declared that painting such a work of the cabinetmaker’s art would be a desecration, and threw them out. Very politely. And banned them from returning. ”Vulgari” was her watchword from then on!

The german whenever Arabs aren't being killed: Anti-Semites die!! The HAOCHamas watchword "from the river to the sea" will be conquered by a higher realization, namely "May your village burn!!!"

The german when the public would like to know if they fuck bees: Aber, well... uach... um.... listen....

anyway. it doesn’t end quickly but it does end, eventually. the compulsion to be the center of attention burns them to cinders. the refusal to sleep because the party never stops destroys their bodies.

“all things must pass” is the watchword. why does this pop into my brain? oh, no reason at all.

My chosen watchword for 2024 was "redundancy."

As in, my primary focus was creating it in my life.

Especially after the election.
I think in a world revolutionized by “just-in-time” manufacturing, where militaries are infatuated with lean corporate structures and an ethos of ”agile, disruptive innovation“, we give far too little attention to the virtues of excess, and not obsessively trying to trim every bit of fat.
