Matrix multiplication and a squashification function to turn the logits into something useful. They're actually incredibly boring.
Maybe don't build one in nothing but NumPy - forget to transpose a matrix and backpropagation falls apart and it's error messages all the way down. 🤡

I know the trill was technically originally in a minor key, but they needed to transpose it up to give it more bite and the B Part needed to have less grunge to stand apart, because they nailed the bridge just fine, they just really needed to keep the two sides distinct like in the original.

I rewrote my solution for part 2 of 🎄 #AdventOfCode day 6 in pure 🐫 #OCaml since ocamllex was useless for parsing. The result is this nice and compact code (spoiler alert!):

it will output in a column, hence the transpose... oh and you can put in the state instead of name and it gives both.

My highschool band was the only one in our area to learn the Star-spangled Banner in the original key instead of an easier key. This meant at things like band competitions, unless you could transpose on the fly, we had to fake playing because our whole marching band had learned Bb-minor.

If you transpose a song on an equal-tempered piano the key doesn't make that much of a difference. If you transpose a song on a pipe organ tuned to F, it makes a HUGE difference because the intervals are NOT the same. This is why Bach's B-minor mass is in B-minor. On a baroque organ it is KARUNCHY.
